i like those a lot... i like the first one the most i think... i keep leaning more and more towards "KCDIY" as a title...
don't worry about if we have to screen a two color design... if it's worth doing, we'll do it.

the statue is on the plaza. it's right in front of an italian restaurant and a clothes store, the names of which i don't remember
one issue i hadn't thought much about is the legality of this. i mean, it's my photo of the statue. but i don't know whether that's enough or not. and highwoods are the kind of people who'd make an issue of it, if anyone would.
i'll look into it, but if it comes up legally questionable i could just replace the photo by doing a painting that looked pretty much like it, and i don't think that could be challenged.

in the apocalypse version, what is the red print? like... what is that an image of?

that's a picture from punk rock prom 2005-- it's the first one in the gangmembers gallery. i think it's of the blackouts, although it's hard to tell who's onstage because it's mostly of the crowd. but obviously it's heavily manipulated. and upside down. so really it's only there if you're looking for it. the 3rd version has that, plus a picture of an uprights show integrated into it.

sweet matt... i was hoping that the red print was .. well... exactly what it is. i really like the first design the most... i like the last design a lot though too... i'm trying to envision what the last design would look like with KCDIY as the title.
and these are definitely worth taking the extra time to do a two color print.

i got justin's message on myspace. i'll work on a square version of it-- reassembling it from the original photos might be the only way to get it to look good at full scale, so it may take a couple of days. but i'm working on it.

you know, it looks pretty alright just cropped from the left side... i.e. keep the left side and chop off the right to square it up... but go ahead and shift things around if you think it'd come out better or more to your liking.

uh, will you also please make sure to just check and see what it looks like if it was called "FUCK Y'ALL 2005"........sweet.
having the picture from the uprights show in there is absolutely necessary. keep that in there!
