the lineup above didn't include the hospital or dick cheney's dick! i heard they were both going to be on it. if they're not, im going to be bummed cause both those bands kick ass.

well, to be fair, matt judge seems to be one of the biggest contributers to the naming/cover art process. actually, i got twenty bucks that says he's going to end up designing the cover. and the hospital may not sound like any other band on the comp, but i think the record would benefit from having them on it. think about it, two hospital songs, then two wgrgb songs! that would be rad! they may not fit your taste, but damn they good.

Hospital not on the comp?
Well, that's totally a subjective matter but I personally think they bring a lot to the comp. Not only are they a great band but Matt has been contributing to this scene for a long time. It's unfortunate that anyoen wouldn't support such an awesome band and great people.
Besides this comp isn't supposed to be static. We've got a scene with a variety of bands and that's part of what makes KC rule.
The Hospital is as far removed from Robots as Alert! Alert! is from Crap Corps. That doesn't mean anything about any of those bands except that they're all rad in their own way.
And it sure would be one hell of a boring comp if every band sounded the same.
The fact that we've all got different things going on is a strength.

that can be the new thing. '77. let's all get way into that. people in america used to talk with english accents because of that, which is amazing.
actually, our song for the comp is relatively hardcore compared to some of our more normal-sounding shit. and the robots' songs are surprisingly poppy, i guess, maybe melodic is more the word, but anyway they've all been listening to sly and the family stone a lot. and g-funk. so i think it'll be OK.

dick cheney's dick stopped being funny on accident about half a year ago, i think. our two songs are fifty percent seething anger and fifty percent poorly written kin lin worship.
i'm really excited about this comp.

here's some finished (3-color) versions of the neptune idea. i don't know if you're willing to screen each cover twice, though. thehospital.sphosting.com/coverversions.htmlman i seem to want to have a neptune on this thing.
