thanks to everyone who came out to that show at the granada. it was so ridiculous but also really fun and amazing. i was surprised to see so many people there.
cody from the ssion mentioned that he thought it was funny that the show ended up being diy at a big fancy venue like the granada. because we basically did ALL the tech. setup (minus the sound). climbed huge ladders, figured how to work there projector, and at some points ran the FUCKING LIGHTBOARD (?!?!) sorry if the lights annoyed anyone. we kinda saw at as what would happen if the punx took over an amusement park.
it was basically a huge local diy mega production that actually turned out pretty spectacular. a big HELL YEAH to everyone who helped out!!! i know i had hella fun just sitting way up high pushing buttons during ad astra. i cant imagine what it was like down there with confetti cannons and stagedives. fucking amazing. the punks need to take over memorial hall next. then motherfucking kemper arena!!!
no no no no....just kidding guys. basement shows forever. haha.
also the show at the sleeper cellar was great too! tons of fun. hopefully they'll stick around. the only thing i would say is if your underage....PLEASE avoid drinking there. if anything they're gonna shut em down for that. thats where they always get us.
have fun at the shows tonight. whichever one you end up at. or you could try both. supposedly the lawrence show starts later?
