ALL of the bands have finished recording!!! We've got a little bit of mixing and tidy-ing up to do before we send it off to the mastering engineer. The arduous task of organizing a gaggle of inherently unorganized people is finally complete.
The recordings are sounding great! amazing in fact, I'm super hyped! Kudos to all the bands for doing such a great job and double kudos to ashley miller and john kraft for their amazing work.
It's just a matter of time now kids!
p.s. we have an idea for the title, but it's just an idea. so hit us with any suggestions y'all have... same with cover art, we're still looking for as much input as we can get.

ok, now i know that you guys might not take this seriously, but i put my full, most completely genuine support towards "FUCK YA'LL 2005" how it was behind that fuckin' poseidon. speaking for myself, that's a pretty accurate representation. uh...if i saw anything that looked like that anywhere, i'd want to check it out immediately. this would be a good discussion to have in person sometime.

I wonder if the singer of the SSION would
do some cover artwork? His pen and ink drawings
are ridiculously good, he's a good artist. His
stuff kinda reminds of the drawings on CRASS records:
fine lines, good shading, and very detailed.

well, our medium is screen printing... so too much detail has the possibility of being lost... and surely somebody ON the comp is a good artist who could do something.

Just wanted to also say congratulations to all of us making this happen and who have recorded and who have (punk) rocked and who will do other things too.
We rule.
And I look forward to saying this again to those who give us the winning record title and cover art.
We're putting KC on the MAP! Last week it was Anxiety Attack on MRR Radio, in a couple of months it will be all kinds of KC kicking ass from coast to coast.

one night chris kellog asked a very important question: "are we not punks?" it may have even been "are we not of the punks?" i like that for a title. but perhaps it's too much of an inside joke or something.

I vote for "are we not the punks?" . And i think my vote should be indexed with my punk points, the scene does not and should not run on direct democracy.

i have a bunch of versions of that neptune one for two ink colors. i can do some for one, if that's what you're using and if anyone still likes that idea.

i'm really liking PUNKCITY or punKCity... i like the art laszlo came up with too. it's hard designignn the best comp to come out of the world in years... hehe, only kind of kidding.
