These should be handed out in the suburbs. It's a sad state of punk when the best thing going is a reissue of a 25 year old band, BUT, these records are great. It's political, without being silly like the Dead Kennedy's, and musically varied and innovative, without being that wanky band that tried a jazz-funk record after their hard-core phase. I think Recycled Sounds has the records in stock too...

Not to say there's anything wrong with the DK's sillyness; AOF is just different from that.

i have loved the dead kennedy's since i was 12, but i get what your saying. AOF is more introspective with thoughtful almost poetic lyrics at times where the DK's more often than not either use blunt or satirical lyrics to get a point across.
"american dreams" & "what we want is free" are two of the best punk songs ever written.

Best guess on what the AOF logo thing is: a clock? The circle is the clock itself and the little pointy things are the clock hands. They DID have that song "5 O'Clock".
