the last three bands should be done recording by this thursday 8/11.
so with any luck we'll have it back from the plant in october, maybe earlier, but then again we initially planned on having all recording done by no later than the last week of july. so we'll see.
it'll be out as soon as possible. of course we're still looking for people to submit ideas or rough drafts for cover art. the idea is that we're gonna hand screen print the covers.

go the hand screened route, on some thick cardstock. that would look real nice.

for the covers i agree the hand screened idea is great.
the workind idea is to get flat/no gloss plain white LP covers and screen on those.

that sounds good. i don't know how big the pressing is, but you can buy plain white lp jackets in bulk from bagsunlimited.com for a pretty decent price. just sayin'

right on. bagsunlimited has everything you'd ever need, that place is great, i've gotten all my jackets and sleeves from them for the A!A! and ROL/NiNETEEN records and all the other crap cassette kill records does/is doing... b'unlimited is the diy labels best friend.
but yeah, hand screened covers... they really don't take that long, the only hassle is that the ink you'd use for that is not a heat cure, it's an air-cure... so you can't just run them th rough the oven and forget about them... you have to find a place to put 300 covers out of the dust and not touching anything else.

Check out the havoc records website. They had lp and ep bags made and are selling them lower than bags unlimmited for diy punk intrests. www.havocrex.com

we're pressing 300 of the first press so we can meet the bottom limit to press color vinyl. yeah that's right, hand screened covers with color vinyl!
