I hate when people say shit like "hardcore, the way it was MEANT to be" or "true hardcore, like the early 80's" or whatever...

But the F Junkies are the real fucking deal. I had a great time, I hope there are more shows like this. And Cardiac Arrest were sweet, too.

yeah, i uh, was "late" and got there at about 10, and was pissed that i only saw like the last half of the set because they were really good. and i don't even like anything.

Id have to say that Cardiac Arrest stole the show. I thought they'd sound like citizens arrest for some reason but it was not like that at all. They just kept playing these variations on the same musical theme, you know, the da da da da da da da da- da da- da da theme or 8 x 2 x 2 theme. I really enjoyed it.

Although to tell you the truth, the tea and phillip roth novel that i came home to, kicked the pants off the punk show.

I'd say they were about equal. I normally don't like those SSD/Jack Kelly immitation drill sergeant vocals, but CA definitely are an exception.

hey thanks to everyone for coming out. that show was fun as hell. and the formaldehyde junkies were psyched and said they wanna come back some time. they said it was the best show they'd played since the west coast.

That show was fuckin great. The guys in Cardiac Arrest were real appreciative too. I think they're comin back through this summer when their new 7 inch comes out.
