ok, so i'm studying film here in drunkcago and i've talked to flannery before about this. i think i want to do a doc on the rudimentary penis or the nick blinkos in particular. what do you think? should i's go to englands spending a lot of moneys to try to find nick blinko who probably doesn't want to be filmed or should i spend a lot of moneys on drugs and cocaines and drugs?
would you go see this movie even if i didn't get to blinko?
would others?

My suggestion is to call around in the UK and with people who've also interviewed Blinko "recently" (I read an interview with him from maybe the early 90's where he was talking about how much he disliked modern punk)... It's doubtful that he'd want to be filmed, if he's still a schizophrenic. Maybe you could do a bio that paints him to be a man of mystery (sort of like Jandek, except people know who he is) and interview ex-band members and the like. I've never seen any RP bootleg videos. Are there any films of them?
I tried to do a Keith Morris bio movie one time, but that went absolutely nowhere because that guy is hard to get ahold of (or maybe I followed the wrong leads) and I have no footage of my own. Hell, I've never even seen footage of Morris-era Flag (my personal favorite). I went through hell trying to find some, too.

videos of rp are probably hard to come by because from all accounts i've ever heard they only played live less than 20 times ever.
keith morris is badass but i think he is probably someone you have to know someone to get ahold of.

he might actually really appreciate it if you go about making it in a way that he wants, which you definitely will. there are so many fuckin kids who relate to him, and he's not just some kind of spectacle or something, you know? anyway, take care!! CHEERS MOTHERFUCKER

oh by the way, have you seen the video documentary i got of g.i.s.m.??!! that guy helped produce it, and i imagine that watching it is exactly what the vocalist would want it to be like, you dig?? PEACE!
