YES, THIS RULES! How can we express our gratitude? How can we spread our seed all over this great land?
In seriousness: I (we?) have lots of friends in other cities, who are interested in copies. Should I just buy copies (ten, fifteen, twenty, whatever) from one of yallz, and put myself in charge of distributing them? From whom and when? GOD I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW ABOUT OUR CITY AS FAST AS POSSIBLE!!
I'm confused about wholesale price: If I buy them for seven dollars but charge nine, I wouldn't feel right pocketing that extra two dollars when I know a certain someone is balls-deep in credit card debt. Someone, please, help me out!! i want to help!!

DISTRO! BUTION!
Any plans to do business with other distros?
I think I saw the first ad astra 7" at Stickfigure distro, but I don't know if I've seen any other Big Brown Shark stuff on other distros.
i'll say it a few more times because i've already said it a lot. distro distro distro bution bution bution

ahhhhh.
yes it rules that we have managed to do this comp. It just goes to show what can be accomplished when we combine our efforts. and i'd say its about time all the rad bands in kc get the credit they deserve, hopefully this comp will achieve that and be starting point for even more releases for kc bands.
as far as distro i'm going to try and get it to a couple of places like ebullition and see if maybe felix havoc will carry some copies in his distro, etc. but then again its hard as hell to get people to take your release if you're just a small label getting on your feet, beleive me i've tried to get other big brown shark releases out there but most weren't too interested.
as far as blue collar i don't know that they would be interested in the comp as its pretty far out of the realm of their musical interest which mostly caters to various forms of indie rock.
if you're interested inselling copies to friends out of state that's awesome and probably the best way to make sure the record finds its way into the right hands, networking among friends can actually be way more successful than just getting it to some distros. the wholesale price is 7 bucks with a limit of 5 copies to get that price. so if you want to take it at 7 and sell it to friends at 7 you can do that, or if you want to sell it for 9 and keep the cash you do that too. its up to each person to decide what they wanna do.
but first we have to get the new screen for the back made and run the rest of the covers. after handing out band copies and selling copies at the release show we are completely out of what we had ready to go. so hopefully we'll have the rest by the end of the week.
if you want to go ahead and reserve copies for distro get in touch, we'll take all the support we can get.
