Dear da punx,
Went to recycled sounds today. There are a few used punk LP's that people might want to go get. Someone must have dumped there late 90's crust stuff recently. I saw the Health Hazard LP, the Seized LP and The when hell freezes over comp, also the initial state lp.
just thought you should know.

music exchange is just too overwhelming. but i've found plenty of good stuff at both places (mostly recycled sounds because the other places is too big), you just have to get lucky.
when was this in the pitch? is this the newest one?

Eh, Recycled Sounds is off/on. Sometimes I go there and it's awesome.. Sometimes it seems like they don't bother ordering any punk/hardcore vinyl or CD's.
Music Exchange can be cool, but damn... They are not afraid to overprice anything they remotely think is rare.
I have a secret, unexpected place where I found some awesome vinyl... But I don't want too many people going there. I only check it about once a month to see if anything new's come in. I found The Dehumanizers LP there as well as 3-Way Cum and some other cool stuff. I mainly like it because it's ultra cheap.

Oh yeah, and obviously, Love Garden in Lawrence is the closest place that's reliable if you're looking for good music.

I don't know if Kansas City has quite the vibrant punk scene like Minneapolis... Enough to keep a specialty store open, at least. This isn't trying to be mean, but Kansas City even has a smaller urban population, let alone enough punk fans to keep a store open. I just think an established business should focus more on punk and hardcore... That way, there would be a reliable place in KC for good stuff and the store would benefit from a capitalist perspective because they'd get more regular business.
I'll stop runnin' my mouth, as I'm so apt to do, though.
