what time of day are you usually listening to music the most?
just curious. for me it's probably the evening when I'm cooking as of lately. it used to be at work, but I get forgetful and I can't remember to bring tapes or cds to work . so I just work in silence :/

There's always music in the car. Tapes made from cds or thrifted goofy Rolling Stones tapes, radio music, or loud singing courtesy of me and my kids. (Our current favorite songs to obnoxiously sing out loud include JOHN HENRY or KING KONG KITCHIE KITCHIE KY-ME-OH!) When I ride my bike any distance at all, I usually keep the headphones on as a soundtrack.
I must have music while I cook, wash dishes, or sort papers. Music while I'm in the bathtub.
I guess I keep music on most of the time when I'm home, but I notice that the type of music I listen to varies with time of day and mood. (No sad blues or country when I'm trying to wash the damn dishes. No perky, punky anything when I am trying to decompress after work.) The only time I don't have it on is when I am struggling to get out of the house in the morning. Too distracting.

I just remember when I was still living with my parents and my dad and I shared a room for our computers, we'd sit with our backs to each other and we'd both have to be listening to totally different music when we did anything. I just grew up like that I think
