The vocalist of Uniform Choice.
1. He went from shaved head to really long nasty hair. 2. He went from straight edge to dumb drunk party type. 3. He started a reall really bad rock band called Mind Funk that had videos on MTV. 4. Need i say more?

I change my vote!!!!!!! Hands down: Dave Smalley He was the singer for early 80's straight edge HC pioneers D.Y.S. and later sang for ALL. Now he's a shitbag republican who posts idiotic crap on the conservative "punk" website. H.R. may have gone reeeeaaaallllll crazy and the vocalist from Uniform Choice may have turned into a dumb long haired party dude, but damn! at least he didn't go right-wing. Also a close follow up is the ex-member of the Dead Kennedy's (he wrote the song Forward To Death) the became a born-again christian and called the police on a show at Gilman St because a singer took her top off or something liek that.

fuck dave smalley. and..6025 went christian?! jesus. brian baker now plays one of the three guitars in the post-good bad religion. greg hetson is in there too. i wish bad religion was still making records like suffer.
at least keith morris is keeping it real. that dude is a lifer.

three cheers for the handful who haven't turned into jackasses.
keith morris: some of the best parts of Another State of Mind are the interviews with him, "religion is just another crutch."
good ol' mr. morris.
other right wing "punks": bobby steele (original misfits member and vocalist/singer for the undead), johnny ramone, and of course skrewdriver and their ilk, whatever, they're all the same to me.

Mookie, you've already got Keith Morris.

does Nick Cave count? Pat Smear's done alright. A little commercial, but he's been doing some sweet stuff. Jello Biafra's doing ok, i guess. i still like him alright. Nick Blinko. and justin, i take issue with your statement that Death Church was Peni's only good record. Cacophony is definitely one of the top five british punk records i've ever heard. top ten internationally.

i agree on the mike watt (viva minutemen!), not too sure about bill stevenson though i did meet him a couple times and he was super nice. pat smear is up for debate but as far as i can tell at least he didn't turn into a meathead like rollins.
nick cave didn't really come out of the hardcore scene but i suppose he could get a half credit for being an alright dude that came out of the punk-related scene.
mookie, cacophany? top ten? we'll just have to agree to disagree. not bad but it's definitely no death church. i'd put it more in the category with the second flux of pinkn indians record. i applaud the effort to stretch out a little and at points its interesting but it doesn't rock me like the earlier stuff. who knows, i haven't listed to it in about seven or eight years, maybe i would like it better now.
