Yes, mush is perfect. However, ive been listening to Horsebox lately. The cover of Cindy Lauper is amazing. I have yet to find a Leatherface release that does not move my soul. There are some tracks on Dog disco that need some work.

"Fill Your Boots", "Mush" and the early singles are great. If your friend likes Jawbreaker, play them Leatherface, they'll probably like it. I single handedly got my brother and C.M. into this band via mix tapes. They were instant converts.

A cross between Crimpshrine, Motorhead, and Jawbreaker?
That's a review I read around 93-94. Fair, but doesn't do them justice.
Mush is perfect. The Last is unstoppable (except that ba ba ba doo song - the only just plain bad song they ever recorded) and Minx and Fill Your Boots and the split with HWM, and then the rest.
Hands down the best band to ever come out of England.

Hands down the best band to ever come out of England. whoa now, justin! what about flux of pink indians? what about london calling? for the love of god, what about RUDIMENTARY PENI?! i know that's a bold statement, but i say it stands up. flux of pink indians had a brief moment with the "strive to survive" LP and the "neu smell" 7", the clash had their moments (too few), and the peni crew hit their peak with their one and only good LP "death church." some might try to argue discharge, subhumans, and i'm a huge crass fan, so i have sympathy with those bands too. but what other brittish band ever managed to match quality pound for pound with quantity spanning over 10 years?
