Yeah, I know. Actually, I like Plan It X- or the bands I've heard, at least. I just needed to divide the kids..
I think the cops are already kind of despised among everyone. It's kind of a common enemy, which is good, but it's also fun to take the piss on hippies and that whole thing. No hard feelings. My lyrics are mostly just whatever comes out on top of the music more than any kind of deep introspection, which makes it funnier that I'm heckling people who write about their actual feelings in a totally juvenile way.
Anyway, to jive with the original point of this... I think there's at least a couple other Northland-based thrash bands that have Myspaces... Is Shitcave still around? There's another one, too... I think they're based out of Park Hill. I'm bad with tha namez. Anyone else?! Please, we gotta sticks together on this one.

I think it probably still is that way, perhaps moreso. The Northland has NO art scene, and the people generally live here because they don't want to be exposed to anything besides the whole "home and kids" trip. There's no culture, and most people up here who try to get into something just read about it- "Our Band Could Be Your Life" used to be in constant circulation around the same five or so Oak Park kids when I was a sophmore, but I'm the only one who ever went to shows or actually listened to the music.
People up here don't know that subcultures exist. When they see anyone dressed remotely weird they think "Slipknot fan" because that's the image popularized on TV and there are so many damned Slipknot fans. I don't even wear "punk clothes" or whatever and people think I'm into Limp Bizkit!

Yo, Page of course not. I meant within the five or so kids who read Patrick Miller's copy of This Band Could Be Your Life. Although I don't think anyone else at Oak Park was going to hardcore shows besides Kyle.

It's about how bands who have songs on Myspace are technically allowed to be used by Rupert Murdoch- since Fox bought Myspace.
In other news, I heard Against Me! are on MTV now. I think they should collab with Linkin Park next... Or maybe let R. Kelly sing on one of their songs.
